ITMs is no good.
September 14, 2004 – 4:02 pmToday I picked up on an interesting article that I found on magnetbox.com. It discusses iTunes and other internet music services. The question is whether or not a service like iTunes really offers any value over traditional ways of obtaining music. Actually, not so much the way that we obtain the music, but the medium that the music reaches us on. I am the type of person who purchases an album not just for the singles that get on the radio (none of the music I listen to really makes it on the radio anyways), but for the entire content on the album, and possibly the extra goodies that come with it (dvd, cover art, the freedom to rip to whatever format, etc). Check out the article and see if you agree.
