Official Enloe. Almost.
December 1, 2005 – 10:08 pmA couple weeks ago I filled out my 90 day eval with my quasi-boss Jim. We did this more than 5 months after starting the job (obviously more than 90 days after starting…). One of the first question on the list was whether or not I had taken the mandatory Enloe orientation yet. Jim was amazed and seemed troubled when the response was that I had not been. He went and spoke with Jim (the other Jim, my real boss). About a week later Jim (the big boss Jim) came and spoke with me about orientation. He seemed annoyed that I had not been, even border line angry. Not that it bothered me, as about 80 days into my job I had informed him of my need to go to the orientation.
I am almost official. Ha!

What do you do at the orientation? Do you get to visit the nursery & see the babies?

Since I haven’t been I can’t say for certain, but I believe that they will just go over all the rules, benefits, investment, etc, etc. There are still times when I go into the main hospital and don’t know exactly where a department is located. So yeah, I bet they will show us around the hospital, nursery and babies included.
