There’s a difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament was the law that the people of Israel lived under before Jesus came. After Jesus came, died on the cross, and rose again (Happy Easter!) he conquered the old law. When we come into relationship with Jesus we are no longer under the law, but under Jesus.

I know the differences between Old and New Testaments. You have to remember, I grew up Catholic. I completely strayed, but theology still interests me a lot.
Just thought those passages along with the authors thoughts were quite comical.
