The World Court is waiting for you George Bush Jr.
Checks it out! They even have a DVD ISO so you can watch on your DVD player.
Description from Archive.org:
This film explores the origins in the 1940s and 50s of Islamic Fundamentalism in the Middle East, and Neoconservatism in America, parallels between these movements, and their effect on the world today. From the introduction to Part 1:
“Both [the Islamists and Neoconservatives] were idealists who were born out of the failure of the liberal dream to build a better world. And both had a very similar explanation for what caused that failure. These two groups have changed the world, but not in the way that either intended. Together, they created today’s nightmare vision of a secret, organized evil that threatens the world. A fantasy that politicians then found restored their power and authority in a disillusioned age. And those with the darkest fears became the most powerful. ” The Power of Nightmares, Baby It’s Cold Outside.
About 2 weeks ago I decided that it was time for me to give Ale Brewing a try. Well today my first ale was bottled, 9 days after fermentation began. In another two weeks I should be able to start testing out my concoction.
On the initial brewing day things didn’t go so great. First it took about 45 minutes to filter all the water, as I only have a Pure pitcher filtration system. Then the wort (concentrated, un-fermented beer) boiled over and I added it to the fermenting bucket. Because of the boil over, the hops were mistakenly left out, so the hops had to be boiled in a little water and then added. Another problem due to my hasty addition of boiling wort, was that the mixture needed about 8 hours to cool. The optimal way of adding the wort would have been to cool it down first by setting it’s container in very cold water.
Even after all those problems, visible signs of fermentation started to appear in the airlock around the time I arrived home work that same day.
Today, ~9 days later, we successfully moved it to bottles. There were only a couple smalls spills. My assistants couldn’t have cared less about the whole process. They did become interested when we finally moved it into the bottles, but the last laugh was all mine when then learned it takes about 14 days to become drinkable (a little bottle fermenting, resulting in carbonation).
The bottling process is a bit more tedious than preparing for the fermentation; however, ending with a nearly finished physical product is awesome. Plus, using the capper is tons of fun!
Sadly, these were my exact thoughts when all of the newscasters were going crazy over the VT shootings story.

Vermont State Senate Votes to impeach George Bush Jr!
Man…. I spilled beer in my car today. Fucking annoying! I was crossing the train tracks, headed for home, when I had to slam the brakes to avoid hitting this jackass leisurely walking across the street IN THE DARK. My beer was sitting in the back seat. Three bottles slipped out of the six pack holder and one started leaking when it hit the floor. It’s been cleaned up, but the car better not smell in the morning. That pedestrian deserved to be clubbed in the head with the leaky bottle. Good thing my passenger side window was closed.
An Example of how foolish literal interprentations of religious documents can be:
Well, now I’m a believer!…. Maybe they just need some better peanut butter. I recommend Adam’s! None of that preservative contaminated malarkey!
Remember folks, Natural Selection isn’t that difficult to understand.
